Analgesic, antipyretic, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory of fast and sustained action.

Indications:
Indications:
For reduction of fever in patients of 6 months of age or over. Relief from mild to moderate pain in patients of 6 months of age or over. Relief from signs and symptoms of juvenile arthritis.
Contraindications: Hypersensibility to Ibuprofen or salicylates. Pregnancy, Breastfeeding, gastric or duodenal ulcer in activity, bleeding disorders, severe renal or hepatic failure.

Dose shall be adapted to medical criterion and the patient’s clinical manifestation. Pediatric posology is of 6 mg/Kg every 6 to 8 hours. As mean orientation dose it is suggested: Infants up to 1 year of age (10 Kg): 2.5 ml (½ measure) every 6 to 8 hours. Children up to 5 years old (20 Kg): 5 ml (1 measure) every 6 to 8 hours. Children up to 12 years old (32 Kg): 10 ml (2 measures) every 6 to 8 hours. Studies carried out so far have shown no specific problems to limit the use of Ibuprofen as antipyretic in infants over 6 months.
